Student Shadows
We invite you to experience a day in the life of a West Michigan Aviation Academy student through a student shadow. On your shadow day, you will be paired with one of our student shadow ambassadors. You will attend classes, meet teachers and talk with other students while gaining firsthand experience of what WMAA has to offer.
Student Shadows are reserved for students currently in grades 8 through 11. If you are interested in scheduling a student shadow, please fill out the Shadow Request Form below and we will contact you with available dates.
Q&A
What time will I be at school?
- Student shadows are scheduled from 7:45 am – 1:20 pm during a WMAA school day.
Should I pack a lunch?
- You are welcome to bring your own lunch or enjoy free lunch from our cafeteria.
What should I wear?
- The WMAA student uniform is khaki bottoms with a blue school shirt. Students visiting our school may wear whatever they are comfortable in, but we request no denim.
What should I bring?
- You will want to bring a book to keep you occupied if there is a test in one of the classes. We recommend that you bring a notebook and pen as well.
