In this course, students will identify problems and strategize as they design solutions to a variety of health challenges in the context of real-world, human-centered cases. Students will build upon the knowledge acquired in Biomedical Engineering 1 and/or 2 as they take a hands-on approach to engineering innovative solutions. Student will learn about topics like: mechanical fundamentals of biomedical engineering, electrical fundamentals of biomedical engineering, cell and biomaterial engineering, tissue engineering, and bio-transport.
