Through this comprehensive course on leadership, students will not only have the opportunity to strengthen their reading and writing, but will also enhance their critical thinking and character development. This course is designed for students who want to become effective leaders in multiple aspects of their lives. Each week students will focus on different character traits of leaders, such as attitude, preparation, respect, compassion, self-control, and empathy. Students can expect to describe and work out solutions to ethical dilemmas, analyze the decision-making and behavior of characters, critically discuss the characteristics of specific role models, practice basic skills, and summarize their learning.
