Timmer, Jaclyn

Jaclyn Timmer Ms. Timmer is excited to join the dynamic counseling team at West Michigan Aviation Academy. She aims to assist all students in finding success and achieving their goals both within and outside of the classroom. She comes to WMAA from PrepNet Schools, where she served as the Director of College Counseling Services. Ms. Timmer’s professional career also includes work as Residence Life Coordinator for Hope College and Regional Admission Manager with Michigan Technological University.

Ms. Timmer completed her undergraduate students in English and Math at Hope College where she served as a Resident Assistant, Chair for the Social Activities Committee, and Director of Orientation. Ms. Timmer also holds a Masters of Education degrees in University Administration from Loyola University Chicago, where she served as Vice President of the Higher Education Student Association, and in School Counseling from Grand Valley State University where she earned the Graduate Dean’s Citation for Academic Excellence in the Major. Ms. Timmer is also an active member of both the Michigan Association of College Admissions Counseling and West Michigan Counseling Association.

Outside of work, Ms. Timmer enjoys spending time outside on the golf course or working in her garden, practicing yoga, or reading with a great cup of coffee.
