Miss Whyard was born and raised in Grand Rapids, and absolutely loves the city and Michigan! She graduated in 2016 from Indiana Wesleyan University with highest honors and with a B.S. in Spanish Education. During college, she lived and studied in Sevilla, Spain for 4 months. She’s also had the opportunities to travel to Rome, London, Portugal, México, and Canada. She hopes to continue to travel and experience our wonderful world.
After graduating from college Miss Whyard taught middle school Spanish in Huntington, IN. She is excited to finally be returning to her hometown.
Other than teaching, some of Miss Whyard’s favorite things include coffee, reading, and cooking.
This is Miss Whyard’s first year at West Michigan Aviation. She is teaching Spanish 1 and Spanish 3. She looks forward to becoming a part of the WMAA community.
